TERRI JO EDWARDS, AuD
Terri Jo Edwards, Au.D. founder of NewSound Solutions, has treated thousands of patients with hearing loss, dizziness and tinnitus during her career. She brings a depth of experience and a heart-felt understanding that is appreciated by her patients. She is experienced in analyzing complex hearing disorders , working alongside physicians to treat hearing loss, dizziness, and tinnitus and in fitting the latest NeuroTechnology™ hearing instruments.
Dr. Edwards holds a Doctorate degree in Audiology from Arizona School of Health and Sciences at A.T. Still University. She earned both her master and bachelor degrees from California State University Los Angeles and Long Beach respectively. She is licensed by the State of Texas.
“It is my passion, as an audiologist, to educate my patients and their families about their hearing loss, dizziness or tinnitus and provide them with solutions for “better hearing healthcare” that will enable them to improve their quality of life, increase cognitive function and decrease risk of dementia. I feel that the extra time I spend educating my patients and finding the correct solutions translates into better care and more positive hearing-health outcomes.”

On a personal note, Dr. Edwards has been married for over 30 years and has 2 grown children. Her most favorite thing is being a mom and traveling with her family.

Liana Mills, AuD
Dr. Mills joined NewSound Solutions in 2018 and brought with her a superior level of expertise and a unique approach to patient care. She completed her clinical training at the Tuscon VA hospital where she treated hundreds of Veterans with hearing loss, tinnitus and dizziness. Dr. Mills is an esteemed addition to NewSound Solutions. She has expansive cutting-edge knowledge and has published research in the Journal of American Academy of Audiology about the effects of noise-induced hearing loss. She is passionate about treating the 42 million people that suffer from the progressive degenerative disorder of hearing loss. She earned both her Doctor of Audiology degree, and her Bachelor of Arts in speech-language pathology and audiology at the University of North Texas. Dr. Mills specializes in comprehensive audiological examinations, treatment of hearing loss with NeuroTechnology™, tinnitus assessment and management.
“My passion for audiology grew when I learned about how something as seemingly simple as treating hearing loss can reduce a person’s risk of dementia. My grandpa had longstanding hearing loss and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease causing a form of dementia. I encouraged him get treatment for his hearing loss by using what I was learning in my Doctorate program, and was able to see firsthand how much his life improved. He became more social and noticed increased cognitive function.”
On a personal note, Dr. Mills lives in Fort Worth with her husband, son, and two cats. She enjoys listening to a variety of music and playing violin.
Amy Kehrt – Treatment Care Coordinator
Amy joined our staff in March of 2016, and what a joy she is. Amy serves our patients as our treatment care coordinator. She is courteous, respectful and brings a smile to each person she meets. Amy is essential to the doctors, assisting them and our patients. Her professionalism, expertise and compassion are noticed by all whom she serves. Amy believes that the strongest asset as a practice is the commitment and love we show our patients.

Amy and her husband Commander Kehrt have served our country in the US Navy for almost 20 years. She has served as the President of the USS Carl Vinson Officers Spouses Group in Coronado, California and the President of the Atsugi Officer Spouses Association in Atsugi, Japan. They have 3 children. Her favorite pastime is going to the ball park to watch her children play softball and baseball or catching a Ranger game.
